Now I am using JV Content Links but if SEO GLOSSARY have this options I will buy it and I will forget about JV.

Is there prevent form looping - if you use custom URL (link to K2 article) and this word is contained in the same K2 item is there a linked word to the same article - self linking?
I saw Seo glossary support synonyms in demo video. If there are 3 synonyms per term how many times are displayed these synonyms? All terms are linked or it links the first found word or you can control how many links will be displayed from term and synonyms together? So if we have 6 synonyms per one term and 3 synonyms per second term, 5 synonyms per third term and you cannot control displaying and these 3 terms with synonyms are contained in one article - what will happen?

I'm sorry we don't have any admin demo of the component, just frontend and video.
You can disable definition links individually, by category, by component or menu (see screenshots).

About the number of word detection, there's a setup for that too (see screenshots).

I dont talk about disabling of component category... Please dont change my question. I dont want to disable component or category of content.. I am asking for fuhncion that prevent form looping.

Seo Glossary was suggested to me by web developer. So you dont have demo of administration, I ask him to set option for me. Result:
{seog:disable} - disable creating of links in article. It not prevent form looping because there isnt links in article..
Menu component category- disable creating of links in component, menu item, category. It not prevent form looping because there isnt links again.

Occurrences - 1
If you have synonyms it create links each of them one time. So if you have 6 synonyms per article and article contain all synonyms you will have 6 links in article. So if you have 4 terms with 4-5 synonyms for each term and all of them are contained in one article you will have 20 links in this article.
Result: You cannot control number of displaying for term with synonyms. BIG MISTAKE!
You cannot control repeating of link creation per term. You can control only globally - one option for all terms...

There isnt option like no index no follow - what kind of SEO is this?

All of this options and disability to set correct values goes to BLACK SEO!!! End user will fall in trouble.

This is not SEO Glossary. This is just a Glossary. Please change your name of extension or improve it. Dont lie customers - not all of them have knowledge about SEO.

I am the developer of seo glossary.first of al i am very thankfull for your valuable suggestion and audit for the things that are not covered in seo glossary.
Seriously seo glossary name didnt come beacuse we are doing some job in seo for joomla with glossary.its beacuse we are working on project where we have used this glossary in defining seo terms and there we have used this word.
there is no way to remove that name now else we lost all our trust of 52 customer who on JED Help our extension to make topmost on glossary category. lot of code and script already bind with such name and you know seo thing its very hard to do seo for same thing again.so i am sorry we cannot work further on your request.
1.When i am implementing the meta keywords and meta description in seo glossary at that time i have planned to add the robot and index in seoglossary.but when we have discussed it with our few previous customers they are telling us that if they want to tell robot noindex they will create a menu from manager of glossary entry and set it to noindex in menu and we have implemented the parameter of menu manager and put that thing from there.

what kind of looping and links you are explaining its very hard to understand.

have you tested it yet?are you sure we have 20 links in an articles?its just oif synonym come then only it will show the tooltip.i alsio make sure that in code i have implemented the static variable so the count of occurnce will be good.it just simply means that if you are repeating a words 10 time and if user dont want to see tooltip all 10 times he can control how many times he can see the tooltip.that sometime help in seo where duplicate content repeat many times and google will punish them.

Sorry, but I cannot accept that you must set a menu item to prevent noindex. I have no words about such method…
{seog:disable} – You can prevent creating of link in all article… no one link from SOEG.
Looping – You create term (home) with custom link to K2 article (Tips for home improvement). This article contains word HOME and SEOG converts it to link to same K2 article. If you click on this word you will refresh the page nothing else. BIG mistake in SEO… Bad score in crawling…
With {seog:disable} disable linking in hole article. So if you have other terms (furniture) and this article contains word furniture you will disable link for this and other terms in this article…
So… your extension needs control of looping of any single term with custom link. If SEOG find term in article where custom ling goes to same link SEOG must autodisable creating link only for this term (and synonyms)
I tested Occurrences - 1
I will explain again. You have term HOME, and synonyms HOUSE and APARTMENT. If you have in article 3 times HOME, 2 times HOUSE and 5 times APARTMENT you will have 3 links – 1 link for HOME, 1 link for HOUSE and 1 link for APARTMENT. 3 links go to one article. So if you have 6 synonyms which are contained in article you will have 6 link which go to one article. This is next big mistake… The best way is to control times of displaying for each one term including synonyms. It is easy if you have column in database where you can set times of display per article (per page)
For final… your customers are not SEO GURUs. If they have basic seo info they will not use this extension.
PS… latest test about SEOG. You cannot prevent creating of links in modules. SEOG broke some modules because it inserts HTML tags in modules when find term in module and create link…
Do you know what happen with intro text of articles in K2 categories and your Occurrences – it doesn’t work?
If I do more tests I think I fill find more bugs… so start to fix known problems. SEOG is a good idea but it is not ready for serious work. I will check again functionality of SEOG after 2 weeks before I prepare my report for SEO networks about this extension for Joomla.
