It's great that you can set basic permissions based on user role. What would be really useful would be to be more specific. For example: I want to be able to create a table as an editor. However I might want other editors to be able to edit that specific table. As it is now, either you have the right to edit all tables or only your own, this is very limiting. I have administrators that handle very sensitive stuff but 100s of users that would really benefit from having the opportunity to edit and work together on specific tables.

unless something similar to this idea is implemented I’m gonna have to look at alternatives to this plugin.

Do you mean WP Table Manger plugin? I moved to the right category.
