1st query: Can you use Bootstrap timepicker in one of the table columns so that front end user can easily pick a start time? If not how can the time be laid out in the column.

2nd query: How can the front end user add, edit and delete rows on a mobile touch device such as in iPad

3rd query: Can you fix table to only display a maximum number of rows and can you fix the height and length of the rows - I want to use this table on an iPad app. See attached file of what I'm trying to achieve.

4th query: I currently have an Edit button in the table row for the front end user to amend the contents of the row - how would this work on your Droptable.

5th query: How do you insert the table into your website - can it be included in an article or as a module or is it a component.

Any help much appreciated - new to Joomla and just want to be sure this is the Extension that will suit my needs.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. Let me answer you point by point.

1. I'm not sure of the exact meaning. We don't have time picker in cells (though it could be good implementation). You mean a time picker to apply filtering on a column?

2. The interface has not been built exactly for mobile on admin side but it works. With a long pression on a cell you can display the cell menu (see attached)

3. You can't limit the number of columns/lines but you can fix height/width with drag'n drop and also freeze the max-height (note that you can also add custom css in each table)

4. You can't do that, the frontend edition is for the whole table, not only a row.

5. Both, in fact you can insert table in any WYSIWYG editor (see video demo for the process)

That's great thanks Tristan for answering all my queries. This product would suit me perfectly, except that I need a simple front end user interface for amending the rows of the table by users who may not be familiar with using or editing tables, so I'm not sure it would work for them. The screen shot you posted was for a new table? Would you have any screen shots of how the edit table screen would look on a tablet - an iPad? Can the edit features be customised so that the user would only be presented with an Insert Row above or below, Delete Row and Edit Row - and not be presented with any formatting options?

Appreciate your help with this.

Hi,

The screen I posted was a table edition on phone, just to show you you can open the add/remove lines menu.

Can the edit features be customised so that the user would only be presented with an Insert Row above or below, Delete Row and Edit Row

This is not possible.

Cheers,
