Droptables: Table Themes and Charts
Droptables is the only table manager for Joomla that offers a real spreadsheet interface to manage tables in Joomla. Plus, everything is manageable directly from your editor. One click table themes, table and cell copy, some calculation functions and auto generated charts are part of the tool. As Droptables is fully managed from your editor, it works in the same way both frontend and backend. An advanced Import/Export in Excel format is available. Usually tables require HTML/CSS knowledge, this is no longer the case, this extension is really easy for beginners.

Custom Tables with Related Chart
Droptables now include chart.js, one or several chart can be attached to the data of the table. Of course, if you update the table the chart will be updated automatically!

Cell Content Easy Edition
In each cell you can define the format to be text or HTML. With HTML you get a full editor, access to HTML and editor buttons. It means that you can add links, images and 3rd party content easily.
Cell Insertion a Click Away
You also have the possibility to merge/unmerge cells, undo modifications, add/remove line and columns from the right click in the table.
Excel Import / Export
There's an Excel/Export tool you can activate from the configuration. It handles .xls and .xlsx files import/export. The importer will insert your data in a table, then you can work on your layout and manage it from Joomla.
Add Mouseover Tooltips
You want to add more data to your table cells? well, the solution is to add tooltip on mouse hover with the information you want. As an admin it's quite simple to create and edit tooltips: click on a cell, edit the tooltip content from a full editor, as simple as that. Just put your mouse hover the table bellow to test the tooltips. you also have an option to force the tooltip width.

Line and Column Freezing
When it comes to present big amount of data in a table, the cell freezing is something you'll need. As an option you can freeze up to 5 lines and/or columns per table. the line freezing option include the definition of the max height of the table.

Data Sorting and Filtering on Frontend
You have option to filter you data per column exactly like in a spreadsheet. This is something very handy to find a value in a column. Here’s an example below, try to type something that is available in the column and check how it works.

Frontend Table Edition
Droptables have a dedicated menu element and template to manage all the tables from frontend in a comfortable view. Plus, based on Joomla user group and user actions, you can restrict the table management and edition.
Making Calculation on Data and Money
Some calculation operators, formulas, are implemented: SUM COUNT CONCAT MIN MAX AVG DATE, DAY, DAYS, DAYS360, OR, XOR, AND. It means that that you'll be able to run some calculation on cells. Furthermore it works with money cells.
Cell Highlight on Mouse Hover
You have an option to highlight cell, lines and columns to easily find the data you want.
CSS Code Edition
You can apply custom in each table with a dedicated CSS editor. Code mirror colored code is available in a dedicated window. Droptables generates easy to style HTML output.
