I just installed DropFiles for Joomla 3.x to my website. I am trying to find an editor and file manager to be able to link to uploaded pdf files. First, when I launch dropfiles extension, the first thing I see is a message that a dropfiles full version is available? I thought dropfiles was free? What is missing or watered down in this free version? Second, I cannot upload any files as I get two warning messages that overlap with each other and are unreadable. One is a 404 warning message, and the other is that I do not have access to the administrator/index.php file. What gives? Why would dropfiles need access to my main site page?

Help please?

Hi,

Here's how DropEditor/Dropfiles is distributed.

DropEditor is free and includes a basic version of Dropfiles and Droppics extensions. For example in Dropfiles you can't categorize files, insert category of files, change themes...
The commercial version brings you all the features + the personal ticket support for all bug you may encounter.

Cheers,
