Is it possible to create new folders, in other words to POST new terms of the taxonomy "wpmf-category" via the REST API?

Is it possible to create new folders, in other words to POST new terms of the taxonomy "wpmf-category" via the REST API?

I'm sorry, our plugin doesn't support Rest API.
