Hi,
1.Does the Media Folder Plugin work like a media gallery?
2.Where does the plugin save the images? In the normal Wordpress Media Libary or in extra folders?
3. Can I set passwords for single folders to show on the front end just for some user?

I need to create galleries like in the link: https://kg-treuchtlingen.de/galerie-2020/

Thanks,
Daniela

Hi,

Sorry, I missed the notification :) OK let me reply point by point.

1. There's 2 different gallery features in the plugin.
The first feature adds some features (theme and configuration) to the default WordPress gallery system. You can get details here:

The second feature is a gallery addon with a dedicated gallery system, more themes and settings and an album navigation...

2. Images are saved in the same place as WordPress, the folder are, by default, a custom taxonomy. Note that's there is a setting to store image in real server folders.
Details: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-products/wp-media-folder/transform-wordpress-media-uploads-into-physical-folders

3. No, there's no such option, the access limitation setting are related to media management. You can restrict media access management by WordPress user role or by WordPress users.
