Hello,

We currently host images on our Google Drive and use a free plugin to pull those images into a gallery on our site. However, these Drive-hosted images do not show up in Google search and we are not able to index them because they technically do not reside on our domain. I believe the only way to do this would be to have the image stored in WP Media have a dummy URL that links to our domain. Is this something that this plugin can do so that images we pull into WP Media from Google Drive will be indexed in Google searches?

Thanks,
Ryne

Hi,

As I know, Google Drive hosted files are not being crawled just because they are public files.
The URL of each file should be included in a website that is being crawled or should be submitted directly to be indexed.
Or you can select Private link option, then your file URLs will contain your site domain.

Hope it helps!
