Have a few pre-purchase questions.

1. Do you have a process for monitoring, identifying and providing security vulnerabilities fixes?

2. When you offer OneDrive for Business support will it be a link to Onedrive and its files or will it sync and pull down the files to the Wordpress server storing a copy of the file on the Wordpress server?

3. How are you serving up the files to end users? Is it a mapping the user to the file system or are your streaming the file to the user?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
1. Do you have a process for monitoring, identifying and providing security vulnerabilities fixes?

Yes, sure. The bug will be fixed intermediately.
2. When you offer OneDrive for Business support will it be a link to Onedrive and its files or will it sync and pull down the files to the Wordpress server storing a copy of the file on the Wordpress server?

This is something we have planned for a future Could Addon release: version 4.1 (we are currently in version 4.0.12).
3. How are you serving up the files to end users? Is it a mapping the user to the file system or are your streaming the file to the user?

You can show files and categories on frontend to a specific group user or public for all users.

Hope it helps!

1. I get the bug will be fixed but do you have any process in place to monitor and detect security vulnerabilities or are the based on users contacting you?

2. I understand that OneDrive for Business support is possible in a later release. My question is will the files reside on onedrive or will they be sync'd down to the wordpress server?

3. I also understand how we would display files but when a user clicks on the link are you streaming the file to the end user?

Appreciate some feedback on the above.

Hi,

1/We are subscribed to vulnerabilities bulletins and users can also contact us.
Also we have coding process that helps to prevent security issues.

The files are not copied to your website.

And because of that we stream the file. As we also apply user access management it prevents unauthorized users to retrieve file content.

Best regards

I have one last question. Is there an evaluation copy of the WP File Download File Manager plugin? We think this will meet our needs but would like to create a sample page to show business users what the interface will look like using some of there sample files.

Hi mwillard,

Thanks for your response.
Is there an evaluation copy of the WP File Download File Manager plugin? We think this will meet our needs but would like to create a sample page to show business users what the interface will look like using some of there sample files.

I'm sorry we don't have any trial/limited version as our plugin are open source.

But, if you encounter any trouble of compatibility, our developer in charge can fix that for you or we can refund you.

We have some demo themes, you can see here: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-demo/wp-file-download/

Cheers,
