Hi there, I have a use case I'm looking for a solution.
Every WordPress Post has links to 3 or 4 pdfs.
The pdfs are different categories, "Memo vs SlideDeck vs Data"
I need a way on the backend to easily categorize the pdfs into categories
I need a way to easily add the files to each WordPress Post.
I need a nice button or table on the frontend for website visitors to easily download the files.
Must be mobile responsive.
It would be nice if I could easily display a table of all pdfs from one of the categories, e.g, All Memos.
I use latest WordPress, and Divi builder.
Can your plugin to that?

Thank you kindly

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

I need a way on the backend to easily categorize the pdfs into categories

It's not possible to categorize file type in each category.

I need a way to easily add the files to each WordPress Post.

Each file in our plugin has its shortcode, or you can use WP File Download File block to inset into your posts/pages.

I need a nice button or table on the frontend for website visitors to easily download the files.

Yes, you can use our Deafult or Table theme. You can check the responsive on our demo also:

It would be nice if I could easily display a table of all pdfs from one of the categories, e.g, All Memos.

You can use File Multi-categories option in this case. But it is not possible to collect automatically all pdfs in a category.
For more details: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/wp-file-download-documentation#toc-file-multi-categories

I use latest WordPress, and Divi builder.

Yes, our plugin is compatible with Divi and some other page builders.

Hope it helps!

Can you elaborate on your answer to #1 please? Are you saying the plugin doesn't work with pdfs? or that I can place pdfs into categories? Can I place pdfs into folders? In your demo you dragged images into folders. I would like to create 4 folders and drag pdfs into those folders. Do you have a product that works with pdfs?

Thank you.

I thought you want to grab some pdfs from several categories then display them on frontend.

Can I place pdfs into folders?

Yes, it's definitely possible to upload pdfs to your folders in our plugin.

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
