Integrating WP File Download tags and WP tags? Display files based on WP File Download tags?

Is it possible to use WP File Download tags and native Wordpress tags together? If not, is tag integration a future planned feature?

Is there currently a way to display WP File Download files based on tags (i.e. a url convention that includes the tag, or a way to add the tag to a shortcode, that will only display files that include the tag)? Similar to how you can add a tag to a URL for native WP tags?
