I would like to send link for downloadable files embeded via HMTL, plain or rich text email. I know your system can do this.

however, I would like the avility for creating links with expiry dates. Is this possible?

If not, could the dowloadable file be made to expiry after a particlar lenght of time? -so no downlods available via the link after the set date.

Sorry, this feature is not possible now. As some users' request, we will consider this for a version to come.
Btw, we've planned to release "Password protection" option for files and categories on version 5.1.
