Hello,

I have two questions about access limitation.
First one :
If I assign a file to a userA, is the direct link protected ? Can userB or visitor download the file with direct link ?

Second one :

I have one category (cat1) with two sub categories (subA and subB)
cat1 has no access limitation, if I limit the access of subA to userA and the access of subB to userB.

I want to create a page which shows files to download of cat1, can userA see the subB cat in the tree ?

For example :
If I am logged in as userA, the tree will appear like that :
Cat 1
- subA
-- file1OfSubA
-- file2OfSubA

??

Thank you
A

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, the link is protected. UserB or visistors can not download the file even they know the URL.

No, userA can see his category and files only. It's similar to userB.

Hope it helps!
Cheers,
