Sponsorship Reward and given ids

Yes this is possible, if the user came with this URL the user will be affected to the sponsor.
Note that the URL will be different, it's http://www.yourwebsite.com/what-you-want/username

User come via old link http://www.yourwebsite.com/what-you-want.php?pid35

I change this via rewrite to http://www.yourwebsite.com/what-you-want/pid35

User read something at http://www.yourwebsite.com/what-you-want and have a look to other pages in the webiste

At the end the user fill out a contact form and send it.

Will "pid35" in this case also be trasferred with the content of the form?

Sponsorship reward can use ids or username for the reference to the sponsor
So user coming with the old link http://www.yourwebsite.com/what-you-want.php?pid35 should be redirected, by htaccess or even built in Joomla redirect tool, to http://www.yourwebsite.com/sponsoringurl/123 in case you sponsor user has the id 123

If you have set the option to use username instead of ids the link to redirect to would be http://www.yourwebsite.com/sponsoringurl/sponsor-name

If the old pid is the id of the user you will be able to create a simple htaccess rule to convert old url to new url. If it's not the case you'll have to create a rule for each pid.

The user will be then redirected to the website registering form.

I fear, there was a misunderstandig and I try to explain it better, sorry.

I have a website and partners with other websites. These partners link to pages of my site with an indiviual user id at the end of the link. If visitors from the sites of my partners came over their links to my website an fill out an order form or a contact form, I get also the indiviual user id of the partner from where the visitor came.

This is the situation in my old site and now I have to implement this functionality in the new Joomla site.

Don't worry I totally understood.

Your main problem is if your pid used in the old site is different from the user id in your new Joomla website. You will have to make a redirection for each old pid to the new link used by sponsorship reward.

Sponsorship reward doesn't have a plugin for contact forms and the sponsor will be automatically be rewarded (coupon, email, assign user to a group).
You may need to do some custom work for this feature.
