Override CSS

Is there a way to edit / override .CSS files ?

I know I can define new styles in my own .CSS, but I consider it is a waste of ressources when the site has to load 2 .css files when the second overrides the first

Yes, here are CSS files: "{root}\components\com_mymaplocations\assets\css"
