Tags and keywords, search possibilities

A couple of questions:

• Can the individual images be tagged and displayed/searched according to tags?
  
• Are the title and/or caption fields searchable in Joomla searches?
  

I need a gallery that can handle images belonging to multiple categories or that can be tagged individually. The captions/descriptions are vital and should be searchable. I need to easily find and display pictures according to keywords or tags.
