Hi,

I didn't find these answers on your site, here are my questions

1) Do you have a backoffice to test the component?
2) Do you have a list of all types of menu, module, plugin?

Is it possible to use dropfile for a company intranet :
- 3)To have a folder that can be read by one or more specific groups of users and managed by another group?
- 4) be able to updated
- 5) be able to approve a new document on the front office?

Thank you for your answers

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

1) Do you have a back office to test the component?

I'm sorry we don't have any trial/limited version as our plugins are open source.
But, if you encounter any trouble with compatibility, our developer in charge can fix that for you or we can refund you.

2) Do you have a list of all types of menu, module, plugin?

Yes, we have upload form, list files, mange files and search files feature on frontend.
We also have modules to show files, please go these links below for more details:

https://www.joomunited.com/joomla-documentation/dropfiles/280-dropfiles-parameters#toc-4-frontend-file-management
https://www.joomunited.com/joomla-documentation/dropfiles/281-dropfiles-tips-tricks#toc-1-dropfiles-using-module-or-html-custom-module

Is it possible to use dropfile for a company intranet :
- 3)To have a folder that can be read by one or more specific groups of users and managed by another group?
- 4) be able to updated

Yes, you can set the roles for users to access their own files on frontend and backend also.
You can update our extension if your intranet can access to the internet.

- 5) be able to approve a new document on the front office?

This feature is not possible in our Dropfiles currently.

- 6) and future compatibility with joomla 4?

Yes, all our extensions always are tested on the latest Joomla version.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to answer me, I'm still in the process of choosing the component.
I see that it is possible to allow access to a category to one or more user groups, perfect!

However, is it possible to allow a user group to manage only one specific category and not see the other categories that it doesn't have access to? (in dropfilesfrontend)
...I don't see that in your presentation...

Thank's again

Yes, this is something not implemented in our extension.

Cheers,
