Hello,

Your product seems to respond to my personal needs.

Is it possible to predefine were WP users can upload their documents (a specific folder in GDrive or DBox for each users). Is it then still possible to let them share their files from their respective posts ?
- For example user James as only access to folder James for upload but can still share his files through posts.

Is it then possible to easily restrict or grant access to James to download and or modify Jenny's files shared from her posts.

If yes, would it be possible to manage automatically users upload rights based on their uploads activity.
- For example if James doesn't publish and share anything, after 5 downloads he won't be able to download anything until he contributes with some posts and files uploads.

Thank you for your time

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
Let me try to answer your questions step by step.

Yes, you can restrict users the access to both categories and files.

In order to access other user's files to download, you can use Single User access feature. But to modify other user's posts, it depends on WP user role of that user.

would it be possible to manage automatically users upload rights based on their uploads activity

I'm sorry, this feature is not implemented yet.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

I bought your plugin but ran into an issue that I'm not able to fix... Authors can add files own by them while creating their post but when the Wordpress Upadete button is pressed, the file zone (download button) disappears. I am hence offered to restore my post (then the zone reappears) but updating and keeping the WP File Download file doesn't work.

Am I missing something linked with wordpress users' configuration ? I am not using Dropbox plugin yet...
Authors rights are configured as follow : Create..., Edit Own and Access WP file download.

With contributors and Editors it's working well.

Thanks for your help.
