Hi, we are currently using the DOCman extension for file management.
However we are searching for a new extension as DOCman lacks the feature for creating categories from frontend.
Your documentation only mentions edit and delete files.
Is this possible with the Frontend file management of Dropfiles to create file categories?

Yes, with Dropfiles it's possible to create and manage categories of files from frontend. You just need to setup the authorization for that.
You also have the option to let users manage only their categories (categories they own only).
