I want to use the Watermark function on a new website but mot of the images are already watermarked because imported from a previous site. If I don't regenerate thumbnails, would I be sure that only the new uploaded images will be watermarked by the plugin?
What is the exact use of the Exclude folders options? For the uploaded images or/and for the thumbnails regeneration? Maybe it should more explicit. Or maybe this should be two separate and complementary settings.
More, I think it could be very useful to add a button to apply watermark in the edit screen of an image. It would allows to easily add a watermark to an already uploaded image.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, that's right.

If you select a/several folder(s) to exclude, all your new images are uploaded to those folders will not be watermarked.
And the uploaded images in those folders will not be affected when clicking on Thumbnail regeneration button.
I think it could be very useful to add a button to apply watermark in the edit screen of an image. It would allows to easily add a watermark to an already uploaded image.

That sounds convenient in some cases. We noted that in our planning list.

Cheers,
