I was advised to post my feature request here.
I'd like to set manually which user role has access to different folders. currently, you can only give all users access to all files or every user access to his own files. I think it would be a great feature, to have a setting option where you can choose which user role is granted access to a specific folder.
furthermore, a user should not see folders, he has not created / he has no right to access (with the solution described above). otherwise it's quite confusing for the user as he wonders why there is an empty folder. furthermore, this user should also not be able to rename the folder and has no rights to see the containing media nor be able to delete it (which can be prohibited using another setting at the moment but that's not a clean solution to my point of view, that's more a workaround).
