Are you planning on releasing any functionality where we can view what registered wordpress users have downloaded files through the WP File Download dashboard or some other reporting export? I know we currently receive notification emails whenever a file has been downloaded that has the user information on who made the download - but it would be nice to have single dashboard spot to view historical download activity for our users. This would allow us to cater our services to them based on their interests in what they are downloading....

Yes, we really need this functionality as well. Since an email with the downloading user info can already be generated, is it that much more work to have the user also recorded in the stats? At the very least, it would be nice if we could at least get this info from the database. Seems like this is a pretty common requirement for many sites. Thanks!

Hi,

This is something we have planned as long with a new statistics redesign.
We are currently working on an addon with a user file repository and then we will work on that.

The file download per WordPress user account statistic and its export has been implemented since the 4.6.0 version.
