Hi
We have just purchased your plugin and we have this problem with your 'WP File download search' form

Also, it's not clear how you set up new users/roles

#11212 Hi ianmelia,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
At Configuration > Theme > Default tab, you can set the value of Crop titles to 0.
You should install 3rd party plugin is found easily on search.
Hope it helps!

Hi
As i see it , you direct them to a form i.e. 'WP File download search' , the user initially logs in and then does a search and their files are retrieved. If they don't login then all they see are public files.
Do you have an example form i.e. 'WP File download search' which has a login option, which would then display their files only (and public files)

I now have this working i.e. 2 users with different roles, different categories, if i use the wp login page. However, it goes to the profile page which I don't want it to as i only want them to see the files in the 'WP File download search' page. Do you have a login example form so they only see their categories / files

#11235 Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me with more information.
You can take a look at our search demo here: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-demo/wp-file-download-search-engine/
Sorry, we don't have login feature to see the categories. User can search with public files only.
Normally, you can see at the icon of each files. For more details: https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-demo/wp-file-download-default-theme/
If users do not have permission, they can not see the categories/files on frontend. Please drop us a ticket (menu Support > Ticket support).
Our developer in charge will take a look at that.
Hope it helps!
Regards,

is it possible to show the filename extension i.e. ReadMe.txt , abc.zip , xyz.pdf

I sorted it going to the profile page by unticking the 'read' in in 'User Role Editor' plugin. ignore the extension question as i was reminded that you have an icon against each file
