Hello,

When I upload file in backend with wp file download, I can restrict who users can see and download this file. But I would like choose the same thing in frontend with the shortcode "[wpfd_upload]"(check the attachment to see the place) beacause actually, I can just choose the category of file..

Because the users of my site are not developers and it is not easy for them to go through the backoffice if they want to upload files, that’s why I set up the possibility to do it on the frontend side but unfortunately, the possibilities are more limited than in the back office..

I think it's a good idea to develop this feature.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

This feature is not implemented yet, but I'll add it to our feature request list and keep that in mind for a future release.

Thanks a lot!
Best Regards,
