Hello,
Using WP File Download as a file repository for our organizations policies has worked great!
However, the one downside we are finding is sharing direct links to files.
There are currently 2 link we have the option to share:
1. The filename link - its an SEF friendly link but it automatically prompts the user to download and save the file to their computer before viewing. This has the nice clean URL we are seeking but is a ux nightmare for our users when trying to share a URL.
2. The preview button link - creates a hashed link that allows users to preview the pdf before viewing. This is the functionality we like but the hashed URL is not SEF friendly.
Are there any plans to potentially have the option for the filename link to preview in a new tab instead of auto prompts to download and save?
