Ability to use the single file template in a custom theme. Currently you can't override the single file design at all without having to resort to editing the original default theme.

Basically I want to be able to put tplsingle.php in a custom theme and if the category is using that theme, it would use that version.

Or, spin off the single file link as its own set of themes and allow the user to choose whichever single file template they want.

Yeah, I really support this request !
It would be really great! I'm using Uikit on all my websites, I would like to have a full Uikit compatible template for single file.

Any idea on when this might be released? I really want to be able to make clean or customized single item links without having to manually copy and paste them.

Did this ever get added or are you considering the JCE button your solution?

Hi brianpeat,

Thanks for your response.
We planned this feature in the next version 5.1 (we are currently 5.0.8). It could be published in the near future.

Though it’s hard to give a precise date on new features release for various reasons.
It mainly depends on the development roadmap we've defined for the developer and problems we may encounter during this period :)
are you considering the JCE button your solution?

I'm not sure what you mean here, but Dropfiles links plugin for JCE in version 5.0.6.
For more information: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/dropfiles-documentation#toc-4-7-dropfiles-link-in-jce

Cheers,
