What are Droppics and Dropfiles buttons?

Droppics and Dropfiles are image manager and file manager Joomla extension we've created.
We've included a light version by default in DropEditor to help you started with. If you want a full version of those tools you can purchase it on their dedicated pages.

Note that a 3rd tool is also integrated as an editor button is you install it: Droptables.

How can I activate DropEditor

DropEditor needs to be installed and then, in the Joomla global configuration, you can set DropEditor to be your default editor.

Can I assign the editor on particular user?

Yes, you have 2 options regarding DropEditor in Joomla.

  • You can assign a Joomla User Group to a specific DropEditor profile: go in Component > Dropeditor > Profiles
  • You can also assign DropEditor by default in the Joomla user profile
