Your requirement relates to WP File Download plugin, so I moved this ticket to that category.

I need the following functionality:

• Each member to have their own file management environment, which I know the plugin already does
  
Each member to have the ability to upload and download files from their environment
I need the ability to download files to be edited, and then upload them to the specific member's environment when completed
I need the ability for file upload, from the member side, to be tied to some sort of commerce system
I plan to offer a paid subscription and a piece-meal option, so I need members to be forced to engage in some sort of form submission and successfully complete payment before a file could be uploaded
I would like something that is capable of distinguishing between piece-meal and subscription-based submissions

- You can set roles for users to manage and download their files on the backend.
However, the files can not be edited on our plugin.

- For the commerce purpose, our plugin is integrated with WooCommerce.
So you can set time limitations for downloading files after purchasing product.
