How override tpl.php

I´m testing dropfiles. I made some changes to this file:

\components\com_dropfiles\layouts\dropfiles\singlefile\tpl.php

I don´t want to lost the changes that I made, if update dropfiles. Is it possible to create a template's override of this file? How?
