Question about listing locations

Hi,

My Maps location is used to search or display locations on a global map.
You'll be able to do want but using a trick, I mean hide the search block and map block with css or override the component view.

But in this case why do you need MML? why just simply list locations in an article?

I really like the ability for this component to be able to list locations on the map and to also show nearby locations. It is what I am looking for. I was just hoping to be able to also list my locations by themselves without having to put them in separately somewhere else. I need to add contact information in my locations, which change fairly often. Therefore, if I only need to change it in one place instead of 2, it saves me a lot of work. Is there a content plugin for MML that would allow me to list my locations in an article?

Does your component allow for any templating other than overriding the component view? I wouldn't want to override everything, since I like the way it looks in general.

If having an easy way to update your list from one place and have it update anywhere you wish, then simply creating a custom HTML module and placing it in a custom position will accomplish that. I do it all the time. Then place that module on a page in a custom location anywhere you want (or an existing position) and anytime you update it, it will load the new content in that module on any page it's been inserted. Problem solved :-)
